Description: There are many misunderstandings about symbols that are on Latter-day Saint buildings. The pentagram has historically been used by many civilizations and groups of people for many different purposes and symbolic meanings.

Today, many people do not realize that the pentagram was a Christian symbol long before it was even concieved to represent evil. Should we limit a symbols interpretation by what it has meant to certain groups for the past few decades when it has had so many other meanings over the last few milleniums?

If Christians used the pentagram before it was adopted by others for evil purposes should its meaning to Christians change? Even the cross was a pagan symbol long before it was adopted by Christians.

teknoduck, anti-Mormons have claimed the use of inverted stars (both in and outside of the pentagram) to be non-Christian. That is why I included examples of both. But thanks for your Christian-like and loving comments. :)

Your dates are incorrect. The pentagram has been known as an occult symbol specifically Satanism for over 5000 years. To show an American flag and say it is the same as a pentagram inverted star. As usual you Mormans are leading yourselves to hell and want to take the rest of us with you. To all readers: The information in this video is false, do not be deceived by the lies from this cult.

Excellent video. Thanks for posting this as it really puts symbols into perspective and respectfully defends attacks against the Church and its members by those who do not fully understand the Symbols used and their true meanings.
